You know the feeling when you have that one destination you’ve set your sights on for so long that you grow an emotional attachment towards it without having even been there? I had this for Myanmar. However, little did I know that what I was about to experience would bring me to tears… tears of utter joy.
I spent a total of 4 days and 3 nights in Myanmar
- Mandalay: My first day was spent discovering Mandalay and making my way to Bagan with an evening bus
- Bagan: My 3 nights and 2.5 days were spent in Bagan, following my a early morning flight to Yangon
- Yangon: My last day was spent in Yangon and the neighboring town called Dalla, followed by my night flight back to Bangkok.
I will be writing a separate article for each of the cities, because I have so much to say, and putting it all input one article would be entirely too long… even though I only had a 4-day window to get acquainted with Myanmar!
Disclaimer: This is the first time I’m posting videos with my blog, and it is solely because I want to work towards being barebones honest on my blog posts. I want to give you the opportunity to see raw, behind-the-scenes, unedited footage of a travel destination, instead of just the pretty photos that make a destination so enticing (which I already do on my Instagram account, Oops!).
