At the Airport

I have experienced every kind of emotion you can imagine At the Airport. I’ve been nervous, excited, anxious, heartbroken, curious, thrilled, exhilarated, worried, sad, free, scared, and much more.  I’m sure all of you can relate. Whether it is the anxiety and anticipation of leaving your nest for the first time to go study overseas; saying goodbye “for now” to friends and lovers; embracing your family, friends, and significant other in your arms when you finally return to a place that might not necessarily be “home” to you anymore; or going on a new adventure with a curious mind and an open heart.

Have you ever taken the time to look around you at the airport? To observe people, to see their hearts on their sleeves. I always say airports are my favorite location in the world, because it is the only place where you truly let your guard down, and  are vulnerable. It is where you show emotions without inhibition. It is where you loose control of your feelings… and there’s great beauty in that.

In this viaBangkok segment, “At the Airport”, I document stories of people traveling in and out of the most visited city in all of Asia; Bangkok, Thailand.
